Visiting Montreal provide travellers with a laid-back, charming yet modern atmosphere even if it is Canada’s most populated capital. The Montreal Airport serves as the arrival and departure point for major local and international airlines with its single terminal, and experiencing Montreal’s cosmopolitan atmosphere begins there. From the Montreal Airport, travellers can reach the city via transportation options like buses, cabs, trains, and car hire that are situated just outside the airport.

Montreal’s most distinctive landmark is Mount Royal. Also referred to as “The Mountain”, it is nestled amidst a variety of cultural institutions like the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, the Musee des Beaux Arts, and the performing arts center that houses the Montreal Symphony Orchestra. For a more historical look and feel, there is the Jacques Cartier located in Old Montreal (Vieux Montreal).
