San Antonio Airport

San Antonio is an appealing slice of Americana and a great gateway to the many delights of Texas. It is the second largest city in Texas and in fact the seventh largest in the United States. One of the most famous and popular nature areas is Texas Hill Country, just a short drive outside the city and an oasis of natural beauty and wildlife. The lands within the Hill Country are home to loads of great drives and walks plus lots of other outdoor sports and activities.

The nearby Guadeloupe and San Marcos rivers are home to tubing, floating downstream on large tire inner tubes, while sections of the Guadeloupe offer great fly fishing for the keen angler. For the diner there is a wide range of different styles of food available, including the beefsteaks that Texas is famous for. But San Antonio is also home to Tex-Mex food, the region’s must-try speciality.
