Malaga International Airport is the airport that you will want to fly into if you are visiting Malaga or Torremolinos in Spain. It is only about five miles from the city center of Malaga, and about seven miles north of Torremolinos. They offer an airport with two terminals that are connected internally so that you do not have to worry about trying to find a fast and easy way to get there.

If you are arriving or departing, you will have your choice of taking a cab, bus, train or car rental to the city and the airport. There are buses that leave for the city every half an hour. Some of the buses will take you to Marbella, which leave every forty-five minutes. If you want to take a cab, be aware that they charge airport carrying fees, but they will get you to the city in twenty minutes. This is good way to get to the city in a hurry if you are not worried about the money. The train can take you to three different places; Malaga, Torremolinos, and Fuengirola. These trains leave the station every thirty minutes. You also have the option to get a rented car. There are car rental companies at the airport including Avis, Europcar, Centauro, and Hertz.

Not only does the Malaga Airport offer different modes of transportation, they offer you some facilities for your convenience too. They have a bank, ATMs, restaurants and bars, small shops, and a post office. The National Museum of Air Navigation and Transport is even located here. They also have a VIP lounge.
