The regional affiliate airline of American Airlines, American Eagle Airlines, announced that it will soon start First Class services on all off its CRJ-700 jets. The airline will be introducing nine First Class seats, and they will also offer customers a premium product with the same level of outstanding service customers experience on American Airlines. Customers are allowed to purchase the First Class seats on any CRJ-700 flights for travel starting July 2nd.
American Eagle said that it will offer a complimentary First Class dining service that includes a Continental breakfast with cereal or hot oatmeal and yogurt. People will also be treated to a lunch or dinner that will include a fresh salad and a sandwich and dessert.
All First Class customers will receive warm, cleansing towels and mixed nuts prior to their meals. On shorter flights, beverage service will be accompanied by a gourmet snack mix.
The President and CEO of American Eagle Airlines, Peter Bowler, said that they are very pleased to introduce First Class service on their CRJ-700 aircraft. He went on to say that, by July, they will have their whole fleet of CRJ’s converted by American Eagle Airlines mechanics to the new First Class and main cabin design. The airline has also taken the delivery of the first two of their 22 new CRJ’s that will feature First Class comfort and amenities.
American Eagle will offer First Class service from its Chicago and Dallas Fort Worth hubs. From Chicago, customers will be treated to First Class services on flights to Atlanta, Reagan National Airport in Washington, Newark and to George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston. There will also be a few other routes that will host these First Class seats.
