Europcar, Europe’s largest rental car company is currently running a competition for people living in Belgium, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Germany, Italy and France where entrants will be in with a chance to win their very own Fiat 500. The competition aims to promote Europcar’s image as an environmentally conscious company by promoting one of the world’s most environmentally friendly cars.
Visitors to Europcar’s website will be asked to answer five questions if they decide to take part in the car rental game, each question relating to the benefits of the Fiat 500 to the environment and Europcar’s green policies.
Europcar recently formed a partnership with Fiat so that it could offer cars with low carbon dioxide emissions to its customers. The fleet of seven Fiat models offers cars that only emit between 110 grammes of CO2 per kilometer and 119 grammes of CO2 per kilometer driven. The Fiat 500 is the Fiat with the lowest emissions and even managed to scoop the prize for European Car of the Year last year. The addition of the environmentally friendly Fiat range to its fleet further confirms Europcar’s right to be the first European car rental company to be awarded the Green Charter by Bureau Veritas last year. Europcar was also bestowed the title: The World’s Leading Green Transport Solution Company shortly afterwards.
The competition to win a Fiat 500 will run until October 15th throughout the chosen European territories and the winner will be announced in November.
