Recently reports came in about a 32-year-old Texas woman that was found dead in her room on a cruise. The FBI was sent in to investigate the cause of death of the woman and to find out if there were any signs of foul play.

Well the first part of the autopsy shows that the woman found dead in her room had no signs of trauma on her body. However, the investigation into the death of this woman will continue.

This Texas woman, Kipi Holcomb of Brazoria County, was discovered dead in her room on the Carnival cruise ship “The Ecstasy” on February 15th. The Galveston County Medical Examiner’s Officer did an autopsy on the body when the ship returned to port. The initial look found no evidence of trauma to the body.

Although the FBI has indicted that there was no evidence of foul play, the investigation goes on. Right now they are waiting for the toxicology results to come back to see what was in the woman’s system at the time of her death. These toxicology results should come back next month.

Some experts point out that just because there was no a struggle and she was not abused does not mean that there was no foul play involved. Some pointed out that she may have been poisoned somehow. However, this is something that no one will know for sure until the toxicology results come back.

Of course, there is always a chance that the woman died from natural causes as well. Right now the FBI is still giving out very little information on the case.
