Everybody was out for the grand opening of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Tulsa, Oklahoma this week.  The unveiling of the new hotel and casino was anxiously awaited by local Tulsa residents who showed up to see the first Hard Rock hotel in Oklahoma.

Oklahoma is not known for its gambling facilities but that might change with the addition of the new hotel.  Local residents are excited at the prospects of having the Hard Rock brand in their city.

“I have never been to anyplace where there is a Hard Rock, so this will be a cool experience,” said Mike Sherman, a Tulsa resident.  “I have looked a couple of them up online, and if this one is anything like the others, it will be a fun place to hang out.”

The new hotel comes with an array of entertainment and culinary options.  There is a 125,000 square foot casino that is sure to keep gamblers happy.  The hotel also includes several night clubs, and five high end dining options.  Toby Keith will have two of the five restaurants including McGill’s on 19 and I Love This Bar.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino also boasts a 2,500 seat entertainment center that is due to open next year.  It is hoped the high end center will draw the hottest acts from around the country.  Local residents will have to wait for a year for the opening of the concert venue.
