Marriott International just keeps growing, and this goes double for its presences in China. In fact, Marriott Third Renaissance and the first Marriott Executive Apartments properties are scheduled to open in Tianjin China late this year.

Marriott International plans to open its third Renaissance branded hotel and its very first upscale Marriott Executive Apartment property for extended stays in China. The Renaissance Tianjin Lakeview Hotel will have 368 rooms while the The Lakeview Tianjin, or the Marriott Executive Apartments, will have 96 units. All of these buildings will share the same lake front building in Tianjin’s Hexi District. This area has a lively nightlife, high end shopping, and the offices of major financial institutions.

Ed Fuller, the president and managing director of international lodging for Marriott International, said that they are excited to see their presence in Tianjin continue to expand so rapidly. Tianjin has evolved into an important high tech and financial center in China and is home to a very significant community.

For social events or conferences, the hotel will have 2,750 square meters of function space. This includes a 1,500 square meter ballroom. The executive apartments will offer a range of bedroom units. Guests can choose to have one, two or even three bedroom units. All of these will be stylishly furnished and include a fully equipped kitchen unit, laundry room and safe. Guests will also have high definition televisions in their rooms and high speed internet access.

Residents will be able to use the recreational and dining options at the Renaissance hotel, they will have a dedicated restaurant and lounge of their own for breakfast, as well as an on premise sundry/delicatessen. Some other amenities include, but are not limited to, a multi-purpose game room, children’s playroom and resident storage room.
