There are some survey lists that airlines want to be on the top of. This includes lists that talk about the best airlines in the world or even the best airlines in a certain country. However, the latest survey, which listed the worst airlines in America, is not one of those lists.
The Airline Quality Ratings take into account a lot of different factors when rating airlines in he United States. This includes the airline’s on-time performance, how the airline handles baggage, and even customer complaints. Thus, this is a pretty in-depth survey overall.
After the results of the survey had been added up, United Airlines found itself in first place for being the worst major airline in the United States. They were followed by American Airlines, Frontier, Continental, and then Delta.
Of course, it is important to note that United Airlines might have been the worst airline in America, but there was still one airline that had more customer complaints, which was Delta. Thus, it is safe to say that any airline that made this list is not too happy about it.
However, this survey did not just stop at the worst major airlines, as they also looked at the worst regional airlines. Here, American Eagle was able to take the cake for the worst regional airline in the United States. They were followed by Atlantic Southeast, Comair, Mesa and SkyWest.
Guess it is safe to say that any airline that made it on either one of these lists has a lot to improve on. Hopefully by making it on these lists, the airlines will see that they need to put the consumer’s needs first. It’s one thing to say it, but it’s something completely different to actually do it.
