Just recently reports came in about a Scottish man who was being very unruly and disruptive on a flight from Philadelphia to London. Due to the man’s unruliness, or as told by the flight crew, the plane was diverted to Boston . It was here that the man was held on $300 bail.

The prosecutors went on to say that the Glasgow resident, John Alexander Murray, had his arm in a splint and refused requests from the crew to keep it out of the aisle. The crew went on to say that the man became belligerent and demanded that the crew take him back to Philadelphia.

A spokesman for Boston’s Logan International Airport, the airport in which the plane was diverted to, said that John Alexander Murray was arrested after the US Airways Flight 728 landed around 11 pm local time on Monday. The plane went on and departed for London two hours later, without the man.

As of right now, it would appear that Murray has pleaded not guilty to a charge of interfering with a flight crew at his arraignment that took place on Tuesday at East Boston District Court. The 50 year old Glasgow resident was ordered to return to court on December 1st. Reports show that Mr Murray did call his attorney, but the call has yet to be return.

Lately, airlines have been doing all they can to cut down on people acting out on planes. Some experts claim that this is due to the fact that not many people are flying right now, and airlines want to make the flight for the people that are flying very comfortable. Also, due to the fact that plane tickets cost a lot less now, people who normally would not be flying are finally getting the chance. Some experts say that these people could be acting out. However, this is just the opinion of a few industry experts.
