Car rental firm Sixt has announced that it has opened up its first car hire office in Peru. Sixt says that it hopes to be able to supply students who are visiting the South American country on their gap year the opportunity to take advantage of its service. Sixt says that it wants to concentrate its efforts in Peru on offering car hire to those who will need a vehicle for long periods of time. They say that their ability to offer long-term hire will be particularly attractive to travellers who will be staying in Peru for more than just a few days.
Sixt’s Peru office follows the company’s decision to supply car hire to visitors to Mexico in September. Sixt can now offer competitive deals on rental vehicles to travelers in a number of South American countries such as Panama, Brazil, Argentina, Chile and Costa Rico as well as Peru and Mexico.
Director and vice president of Sixt, Detlef Krehahn says that the new office in Peru will supply business travellers with access to the firms hire vehicles and that Sixt wished to expand its reach throughout the travel community and focus more and more on tourists and their travel needs. He went on to say that Sixt were proud that they could now offer an almost nationwide service which could provide customers with high quality vehicles that were both reasonably priced and able to deliver exceptional performance.
Those visiting Peru might wish to use their car hire to visit sites such as the Colca Canyon and Pisac Market.
