One of the county’s most popular car hire firms Sixt Rent A Car has managed to scoop the title of Car Rental Partner of the Year at Manchester Airport’s first ever Retailer of the Year awards. The car rental firm beat rivals Europcar and Avis who were also in the running. The new awards have been established to determine how customers at Manchester Airport rate its services.

Sixt has outlets at all three terminals at Manchester Airport and interviews were conducted with the company’s customers in order to determine how they felt about criteria such as value for money, customer service and choice of vehicle and availability of vehicles amongst other things. Sixt managed to win the first prize because it scored particularly highly in the innovation category as well as value for money and range of vehicle choice.

Talking about how pleased he was to have been awarded Car Rental Partner of the Year Sixt’s Bob Baillie said he was particularly pleased that the prize had come as a result of the customer’s vote. He went on to say that Sixt was constantly looking for ways to improve its service to customers and to meet customer needs.
