It now seems that a lot of reports are coming in about 2 Muslim men that were forced off a plane that was going to be heading to North Carolina. Apparently these reports show that the men were pulled from the plane in order to undergo some extra security checks. The problem is, when the men were undergoing more security checks, the pilot actually left without them.
The airline on which this happened on, Atlantic Southeast Airlines, said that they are currently investigating the incident. They are not sure right now why the pilot simply left without the men on board. It is very possible that there wasn’t very good communication between the plane and the security staff.
Reports show that the two men were both dressed in their Islamic attire. Experts are saying that this is more than likely the reason why the men were pulled from the plane. However, the lawyer for the two men said that it was uncalled for. These two men had done nothing wrong and nothing out of the ordinary. The men were not even praying or chanting.
To make matters even worse, it is said that the two men were on their way to participate in a meeting on the discrimination of Muslims in America. It does not look very good that these men had to miss their meeting, because they were pulled off a plane for extra security checks.
A spokesman for the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) said that the men were pulled off the plane because the pilot was refusing to fly them men. The spokesman said that the pilot had refused to fly them, because some passengers were uncomfortable with them.
