According to reports, a man that was quoting passages from the Bible had to be subdued by fellow Fliers while on a Delta Air Lines flight. The airliner, which was in route from Seattle to Atlanta, had to be diverted to Nashville because of the disturbance. According to these reports, no one was hurt in the event.

Emily Richard, a Nashville International Airport spokeswoman, said that the passenger, Paul Marchuk III, was apparently charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Anthony Black, a Delta spokesman, said that the passenger became unruly Tuesday afternoon. Due to this, he had to be removed by local police. Anthony said that he did not have any other specifics on the events that took place on the plane.

The Delta aircraft, a Boeing 757, with 178 people on board, flew on to Atlanta afterward. The plane made it to its final stop almost 1 and a half hours late due to the outbreak. There were six crew members on board the plane as well.

It is still unclear just what happened on the plane. However, from what most reports say, the man started to quote Bible passages to other people on the plane. Apparently over time, the man started to become unruly and would not listen to other passengers and crew members. The reports go on to show that he was finally subdued by other passengers on the plane when they finally had enough of being forced to listen to the good word. More information will be released on this case later after further investigation and a possible court hearing.
